Sabertooth Or Maximus VI Formula ?

Building a gaming rig for a family member and it's between the boards in the title, Cannot decide between them, Personally I've had Sabertooth boards since they were first introduced and currently have the Z87 variant and love it.

Now the family member I'm building the rig for already has a sound card, Something from creative, The ZX I believe, So the onboard sound will not be used at all and neither will the inbuilt watercooling option for the VRM's.

Price difference of £50 aside, Which one gets the vote ?

ROG everytime. Sabretooth in terms of component choice is basic board with bells and whistles. ROG board is much better quality components, Bios support and now with formula that armoured look if you want it!!

The formula is a cracking board, yes it's a bit pricey, massive amount of bios options and it looks amazing. The onboard sound isnt that great tbh, but then im comparing it to a xonar DX that i used to use.

Having read more reviews/watched videos I'm actually considering selling my own Sabertooth board to get the M6F as well as buying 1 for my cousins rig, Foolish move or stick with the Sabertooth and just buy the M6F for my cousin ?
