sabertooth or ?

Stay away from Asus...

... I was a great fan of Asus new P8P67 right till mine broke and ive had nothing but troubles. Id get a UD5 or a UD7.

I might also jump ship when I get my b2 mobo replaced. I'm thinking about the Asrock extreme 4 myself. Have a look at ti, it looks quite promising specially at the price range it sits

  • Pauses on post(Requires power cycle to post)
  • Constant BSOD
  • BSOD when xbox wireless reciver is used
  • Lots of bios updates and the booard still isnt good.
  • X-Fi soundcard drops out when it feels like it

I realise this may not be the board but all hardware has been retested and checked. While there offering a RMA and £80 more to get a better board ill give it a whirl.

thanks guys, i was reading that people are having a lot of troubles with the ASUS RMA's so ive decided to go for the Asrock Extreme as a few reviews ive red have been quite good :)

I Would rec the Sabertooth myself. Have just finished my upgrade with a TX650 / GTX-460 and have been stressing it for the last 5 days, pretty non-stop.

5Ghz 39/65c with a H50 Push/Pull. The voltages are rock solid on the board and I've not had to reset my bios via the jumper once since installing it. Superbly engineered...Asus know what they are doing :-)
