Not sure if this is a safety feature or not but I seem to be having an issue with the system not posting everytime.

For example if I start the system from cold in the morning everything works fine.
if I then shutdown and immediately try and start it up again I don' even get the POST screen. I have to turn it off again and wait a few mins then try again and everything works fine.

Anyone know if this is a motherboard setting or something as it can be a little annoying if your testing things and need to shutdown a few times.

Latest bios is installed.

heres some of the settings not sure if what you needs lists on there

The proposed bits are what its at now, been running at those for months.

If not i'll have to go digging into the bios

looks fine to me,uncore voltage 1.38750v looks right for that overclock,i could understand cold boot errors/loops ect but not once warm

could try one/two clicks more uncore voltage see if that helps

cheers, might give that a try.

That screen shot is from the 'Intel Extreem Tuning Utility' that came with the motherboard. Its got an Autotune option which looks like it'll try different overclocks till it reaches one it likes.

Anyone have any experience with this? or is is best to avoid letting this do its thing?

you can clock it yourself but looking at those settings/voltages it looks ok,cpu voltage and qpi/vtt look fine, might need to tweak uncore vtt a little idk

you can use upto 1.45+ for uncore vtt but you shouldnt need that much imo
