Would really appreciate some help here. What is it with this sodding programme. It's completely alien has no instructions anywhere on the entire web about installation and simply does NOT work. Can anyone help me out?

I downloaded and installed 0.4.11, extracted the file to my App directory and run it. I've got to the localhost page on Safari but now what. I've put in the server details correctly but nothing happens. It doesn't monitor my download folder and if I manually input the directory of an NZB file it fails to do anything.

Good god it's frustrating. Would really appreciate some help!

Have you started the deamon?

DL the source as I noted the last version was pre SL but it's all python and I don't have a clue so scrap that idea.

I'd persevere - It's not that hard to use (trash your preferences and start again) and is infinitely more powerful than any other news reader.

Seems pretty simple to me.

I use the Firefox addon to start downloads with one click from Newzbin, there is some documentation on the website to help you too. Got it setup with custom folders and all is working nicely.

Use the iPhone app as well, bloody brilliant!

What exactly have you set-up so far? If running it will auto read nzbs and add them into a queue for me, have you pointed it to the correct directory?

Never had an issue with sabnzbd+

Have you got the correct address/port for the server?

Maybe details of the service you are using?

Sorry guys my tone was a bit aggressive. Had some real problems getting adjusted to the Mac world this weekend but all is good now. Set it up and it's working brilliantly. Love how organised it is and how everything is done automatically.

Thanks

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but if you get the firefox addon, do you have to type your login details into it for it to work?
Bit cautious about giving out the details, and do you have to enable more than local host only in SABnzbd for it to work?
