Finally, after being on 99 international centuries for what seems like 99 years, Sachin Tendulkar reaches the incredible milestone that we've all been waiting for. The only pity is that's it's not on mainstream television being in the Asia cup against Bangladesh. Mighty congratulations!!! :D

http://www.espncricinfo.com/asia-cup-2012/content/current/story/557526.html

Sachin Tendulkar has scored his 100th international century, in India's Asia Cup ODI against Bangladesh in Mirpur. The unprecedented landmark was achieved after 33 international innings without a hundred. It was Tendulkar's 49th ODI century, his first against Bangladesh, to go with his 51 Test hundreds.

It was one of his slower hundreds, as he took 138 balls to reach the hundred. The hype over Tendulkar's 100th international century begun during last year's World Cup, when two hundreds in the group stages put him on 99 international hundreds. However, he failed to get to three figures on India's tour of England, the home series against West Indies and the tour of Australia, and has finally achieved the feat in Bangladesh.

It's all a load of BS. Complete crap. I don't give a **** about this.

If I have 500,000 US dollars, and 500,000 Ugandan dollars, am I a millionaire?

Well done on scoring another hundred sachin, but you took your time about it. 138 balls :o

Congratulations to Sachin (even if he had to wait until the proper teams were out of the way ;)).

does it really matter how many balls it took, afaik, being able to withstand that many innings without your wicket being taken is a good thing, as sometimes cricketers can be bowled out on their first ball.

Congrats to the little master, finally got his 100th 100...took him long enough:p But regardless who he done it against, you cant really beat that record.

Simply amazing player.

Amazing feat which will probably never be matched.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh require another 58 runs with 6 wickets and 40 balls remaining...

18 needed off 14. Could it possibly be that in the same game that Sachin gets 100 hundreds that they actually lose to Bangladesh.

WHAT AN AMAZING LAST FEW OVERS.

Bangladesh win, just WOW.

edit. I assume they win since they need 2 runs in 7 balls lol.

Well done Bangladesh, bit surprised they beat India but nontheless what a win for them.

Guess it kinda sours Tendulkars 100th 100:p

Pakistan vs India on Sunday. I doubt our inept batsmen chase down or score anything close to 300, but it will be a good battle between our bowlers and India's batsmen.
