sacking someone on sick

Hi all,

Have an issue at work.

We had a girl start middle of last year and was let go during her probation for sickness & attendance issues.

However, at some discussions they gave her a job back in the same team.

This was 20th oct, since then she has had a couple of days sick and a total 55 days signed off. she is still on probation.

Can you legally sack her without any repercussions even though she is signed off?
