Hello,

I've installed and patched the game with expansion and I'm trying to play it but after about 5 - 10 minutes it cuts out and closes the game.

Just wondering what might be causing it, both game and graphics card have been updated and it seems to work fine on other games.

My system:

Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
AMD Phenom 8750 x3
4GB OCZ RAM
Asus M3N78-VM
XFX HD 5770 1GB
 
It's a very finicky game on most configs tbh. I&B exp has been known to cause all sorts of issues on some systems with both 2.65.1 and 2.65.2 patches. I know for me only the base game with 2.40 was stable for long periods of time, had issues with anything above that. Pity really, as the game is quite fun when it's not crashing.

You may have already looked but there is a good fansite with a forum, darkmatters.org which is fairly active that might give you a lead on fixing it. The official forums are pretty much dead now but may have something also....I know from advice I found at darkmatters it kinda slowed crashes down on I&B. Can't remember exactly what tho, it was a while ago now.
