Bugged to death.

DONT waste your money.

I've played it for a couple of hours and only had two crashes and some missing textures...what do you mean bugged to death!

Shame really because it's a great game when you get into it. I also have the high res texture pack installed from the special edition.

I take it you have not played it?

I received my copy yesterday and was playing it last night. Never crashed and it seems a very polished game. Really enjoying it certainly better than anything before it.

Only issue I have seen is sometimes creatures get stuck in the ground when you fight.

Highly recommended if you likes Titan Quest, Dungeon Seige ....

Do not buy it from the store the OP mentioned as £35 is a complete rip-off when you can buy it for £25 online. I just ordered the game today and hopefully it will actually arrive as so many games I have ordered recently have gone missing. I am sure that my local postal sorting depot is stealing them.

The newest patch is getting flamed to hell on the internet, its full of bugs.

The AI has massive pathing issues, it feels like it was trying to be a MMO but they didnt get the funding so they bumped it down to a single player.

paul.dll is a lovely bit of spyware that authenticates on the internet everyday. No net, no game.

The games actually very good imho, although it is very buggy at the minute. I can go hours without a crash and then sometimes get several every 15 minutes. You kind of get used to hitting F9 all the time to autosave. The camera angles can get frustrating, especially in dungeons, although changing to the free camera mode helps a bit with it.

If you were a fan of the original Sacred, or if you like anything remotely like Diablo or Titan Quest, then there is plenty of fun to be had out of the game. Of course it's all about leveling up the 200+ character levels, fighting wave after wave of mobs, crawling dungeons for the loot etc, but if your into that kind of thing then I personally think it is the perfect stop gap until Diablo III is released. It definately needs a patch to sort a few of the bugs out, and they are working on the first big patch with news to hopefully come in the next week on the patch according to the official forums. But overall I'm very happy with the game :)

I'm running a GTX 280 on max detail with no problems apart from the occasional issue with creatures getting stuck in the ground. Other than it seems solid. I think I have been playing for over 10 hours.

The best game I have played this year for me. They seem to have got the gameplay spot on. Highly recommended.
