Sacrifice!

Such an awesome game, very underrated, as nobody ever knew it existed....

Anyway, i went to take a look at it again today, and low and behold, i can't get it to run. Have tried the patches, and compatibility mode in each of them, for all os's and no joy, the errors i get are:

In win 95/98 on all patches i get a memory code error.

In win 2k/nt/xp i get an error stating that my pagefile isn't big enough, and i should have a pagefile siaze of at least 128meg... which i'm pretty sure i do...

Anyone managed to get this working on recent hardware, or is it just a case of the game is now too old to run?

Just as a test maybe try removing 2gig ram and ensuring that your page file is under 2gig.

I'm just taking a wild stab in the dark here but I'm speculating that the problem is, it is trying to detect how much virtual memory you have, but because of a 32bit limitation it is failing to read this correctly and due to poor code assuming that you don't have enough.
