Does the safari 4 beta use seperate proceses for each tab like Chrome does, or is it one big process like in firefox?

Activity Monitor only displays one process for Safari 4 Beta so I guess not

If you class the extra process that pops up to munch through your CPU, RAM & bandwidth for the sole purpose of...website previews! Then yes.

As you can tell, i am not a big fan of Safari 4

I'm talking about the not-crash-everything-when-one-tab-screws-up type seperate process.

Few times its crashed on me it took the whole browser down, if thats what your getting at
