Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to get Safari to display RSS feeds from the bookmarks toolbar like Firefox does. When you click on an RSS link in the bookmarks toolbar on firefox it displays the feed in a drop down fashion.. is there any way to do this on Safari?

Cheers,
Felix

In Firefox the RSS feeds are in a dropdown list, which expands for each feed.

I believe he wants a way to make Safari do the same :)

I am unsure what you mean - do you mean that you want it to show the RSS feed as a drop down list rather than a page?

Rich

Yep that's what I mean. If I click 'latest headlines' in the Firefox menu bar then I get a drop down list with all the latest headlines in it, rather than the link taking me to a new page.

It's not in Safari but download RSS Menu and it will put a drop down list into the menu bar in the top right. Includes Growl notifications when new articles are posted too.

Stupid question, but is RSS Menu any good?

Would be nicer than checking my lists :o

Scratch that.

RSS Menu has been zapped and replaced by NewsFire.

One of the best looking OS X apps available and has loads of great features.

Unfortunately it costs money to have more than 15 feeds listed. Still, I think it's worth paying for.
