Safari for Windows

have you tried 127.0.0.1?

on osx it's just http://localhost/

also, I hate it - it's going to make windows users think that's what mac users see when using safari but the type looks terrible - font rendering looks weird

It's bloody handy for me, I'm in the middle of doing a site that I had to (pay for and) use browsercam to constantly check the safari layout.

does it render the same as on mac safari then?

It's rendered the anomolies(sp?) that browsercam highlighted with Safari 2 on a Mac, including differences in pixel spacing etc. Can't guarantee it'll be exactly the same though.

This seems like a good idea, I get so fed up of fixing annoying errors via browsercam!
But it does raise issues that is the rendering between 3 and 2 different? i.e. I'll still have to test on browsercam for all those mac users still on 2...

EDIT: I assume Safari 2 wasn't avaiable on windows, just so I don't go crazy...

Will be extremely handy for myself too, so long as it renders the same (or close enough too) a Mac's version of Safari. Although now having to use another browser to text code to make sure it's rendering right isn't exactly great :/

It seems to find localhost, just asks for a username and password as Firefox does before you have a change the authorisation or something through about:config. Cant see any info on how to do it Safari as its so new.

There are options for the font rendering. Gets much better when put on 'light' rather than the default medium which does seem a little odd.
