hi

ive got a really quick question. atm everytime that i connect to my wireless internet at home it asks for a WEP key, and i was wondering if there was a way of making it so that it connects to my home wireless network on startup. I thought it was the key chain option thing when you enter the password but that doesn't work.

thanks for any help

System Preferences > Network > Airport > Advanced... > Preferred Networks > Select home wireless > Edit button (pencil) > Select WEP security, enter key, make sure remember is ticked. Then Drag home network to top.

Should work.

Any particular reason you are using WEP encryption? Its not very safe thats all. Use WPA or WPA2 if possible and your router supports it.
