Is anyone else finding poor performance with Safari since its latest software update?

Trying to play videos on YouTube for example ends up with them stuttering and freezing half the time. I've noticed this on my 2008 MacPro and my 2010 MacBookPro.

For reference I had no issues before the update and Firefox still plays videos like normal.

Stolen from my post on MacRumors:

Make sure Flash is up to date. In System Preferences, in the bottom section, click on Flash Player, then Advanced tab, then click Delete All, and make sure ONLY "Delete All Site Data and Settings" is selected. Flash seems to get crapped up over time, this always fixes the problem for me.

Can't guarantee that it'll work, but it may sort the problem for you.

My Flash is all up to date.

I worked out that it appears to be just HTML5 videos on YouTube that were problematic. I left the trial and it all works fine again with Flash videos.

I don't use Safari that often but it feels snappier to me after the last update.

As I said above, its just the HTML5 performance I was finding a problem with on YouTube. No issue with it in Firefox and having opted out of the trial so that YouTube now only shows Flash videos, its fine again.
