safari problem

Hi, downloaded divx codec for mac the other night and now anytime I go onto a site with flash content it pops up a warning saying that no shockwave plugin is installed in safari! I cannot tihnk that I downloaded anything else other than divx so it must be it that has caused the problem. Anyone know how I can reset safari back to default settings again? Cheers

perhaps try installing the latest version of flash player for mac osx

try repairing permissions

not sure how divx would mess with flash video tbh

yeah i cant really understand it either but it was the only thing I changed so im guessing it must have been it. I checked on the adobe site for flash players but all i could find were PPC versions only. Tried using the 'reset safari' option but it didnt help at all.

Surely it is a UB by now, have you tried running it?

yep i downloaded the PPC version and have to run in rosetta mode now. Is says on the adobe site that it has not been modified for Intel macs as yet!
