Safari & Tabbed Browsing

Hello all,

Lion os x Safari 5.1.2, i used to use my trackpad and (single finger) double tap next to an open tab to create a new one. For an unknown reason i can't do that now, and can only right click next to the tab to create a new one. I've been through all settings that i know of that can change it, but no luck.

Can anyone help with what maybe the cause as i've not done any updates of which may have caused the problem, is there an other settings i can adjust that you know of? :confused:

I'm on Lion and the same Safari and it works for me... weird.

Yeah it is weird, it's just stopped working how it used to just like yesterday. Don't remember doing anything to change it, though i've checked trackpad settings and safari prefs/tab etc no joy.
I've tried tapping again, and the only way it opens a new tab by tapping is tapping in the region of 7-10 times of which it used to do it in 2 taps.

It works for me, but I didn't even know it could do it cos I usually just do CMD + T.

Hi. I can't find the setting anywhere now, could've sworn i set it up when i first got Lion after the install from Snow Leopard. :confused:

Edit: Sorted, i have looked at the settings from a bluetooth mouse. Managed to tinker with them settings, disabled a few things and voila all working again.
