Safari Zooming question

In Chrome on my PC I can hold CTRL and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom or un-zoom a website, incl text, some graphics, etc.

How do I do this on Safari for OSX High Sierra??

I have found a setting to control text and set a minimum font size but I want zoom control like I have in chrome on Windows?
Please help a MAC noob.

cmd + to zoom in
cmd - to zoom out

Is that what you mean? Not sure if there's a mouse equivalent (I use a trackpad)

Also try Apple Menu>System Preferences>Accessability>Zoom>Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom: Control
