I have a copy of the Safari browser running on a Windows XP laptop with cleartype turned on.

The fonts inside the browser are awful. Changing the fonts selected improves nothing.

Is this a conflict between Mac and Windows font handling?

Any solutions?

it uses its own rendering engine which is different to the way cleartype works.

This is really in the wrong forum, as you're not talking about mac software.

As Hate said, Safari does it's own rendering.

It's best to turn off cleartype if you want Safari to look half-decent :)

And rather silly - iTunes looks fabulous on a PC.

Does anyone know if there are any hints that iCal is going to be made available? Neither the Mozilla Calandar, nor Evolution are mature enough on the PC to be usable - same with Mulberry Calendar.
