Hi all,
Have been trying some o/c on my rig and have currently these settings:-
356X9
Memory ratio 1:1 = 712MHz (800 is stock speed)
Bios settings:-
pci express 100
pci clock sync 33.3MHz
spread spectrum - disabled
Cpu core - 1.3250
fsb termination voltage - Auto
Nb core - Auto
Sb core - Auto
ICH chipset - Auto - What is this?
Cpu setting in bios:-
C1E support - Disabled
Max CPUID - Disabled
Vanderpool - greyed out
Cpu TM - Disabled - Is this safety thermal management for cpu?
Execute disable bit - Disabled
PECI - Disabled - What is this?
Ram timings set to 4,4,4,12 as per manufacturers settings
Have been able to run Orthos for 3.5 hours with no problems, should i run it for longer?
Temperatures Idle - 25 degrees
Under test with orthos maxed out at 52 degrees.
Sorry for the long post, but any advice and answers to the questions raised would be very appreciated as i am learning about all this. I think you guys are great on here & very helpfull.
Btw according to Intels site the voltage range for the C2D 6600 is 0.850 to 1.352 so am worried about taking voltages too high.
