My 8800GT can hit 785/1890 on Core/Shader as opposed to 600/1500 stock, quite a nice increase if you ask me. Not OC'ing memory as the performance increase is negligable.

Is there any danger in overclocking these cards so long as they're on stock volts? I know some of the 8800's had crappy phases.

If it's of any reference, it's a BFG 8800GT OC with a Zotac cooler on it, think it's a reference PCB.

Cheers

Nice core clock :)

Keep an eye on the temps thats the main thing.

My 8800GTS g92 would max out at 728 on the core but 1030 on the ram :(

Ran my 8800GT pair in SLI at 760/1980 IIRC with a slight voltage increase for quite awhile and they are still working fine individually now so shouldn't be a problem.

There was a problem with the earlier ones tho due to the fan hole being too small resulting in insufficent cooling to all parts of the PCB which could kill the phases and make them stutter.
