Safe 8800gt temps?

Hi, just got a Inno 3d 8800GT with stock cooler, just came out of crysis, its running at 88C lol ive never seen anything that high before.

I have a VF900 - will this do the job and allow me to OC aswell? Bit scared to stick it on as the ramsinks are rubbish.

What speed is the fan at at the moment? If I set my over clock to play crysis, i normally put the speed up to 60-65%. This would keep the temps from getting to high 70's.

Try increasing the fan speed, and see how much the noise bothers you. cause 70% + is very noisy.
