hi im currenly running my e6600 at 3.2ghz with a vcore of 1.3875v. idle it sits about 37-40c and about 57-62 under fullload, stressed using orthos (cortemps reads a little higher at about 64c max temp). everything is perfectly stable like this but i would like to overclock a little higher than this, could anyone tell me the max safe temp for an e6600.

p.s. never run my system 24/7, and im using a zalman cnps9500 at cpu cooler.

do u think increasing the v core to around 1.4v on air is ok or will that increase temps to much? still would like know what max safe core temp for this chip is would say 65c or so under full load be ok.

thanks for the info fellas might look into watercooling when i have avaliable funds !
could anyone recommend a good kit to buy??
