Just installed an ATI 3650 into my 5920G because the 8600M GS that was in it went kaput.
When I received the card I had problems overheating because the chip isn't as thick as the 8600M GS so I had to buy a copper shim to put in between the chip and heatsink.
The laptop runs nice now, and doesn't overheat/shutdown, but my idle temps for the card are 50-55c, and under 10 minutes gaming went up to 75c. Is this ok? Will it decrease the life of the card at all?
(CPU: T7300 idles at ~45c and load 75c)
