I have a i5 2500k currently at @4.5 @1.372v and my 7950 @1150/1450 @1.225v
CPU doesn't go above 42-43c
Gpu doesn't go above 38-40c.
I'm not currently at my pc but I'm damn sure its these temps or very very close to this.
I have this all under water rasa CPU block,sr1 560 radx4 cougar 140mm fans,aqua computer 7950 block,d5 with ek top,bay res.

My question is what's the safe volts for 24/7 use on a
i5 2500k on water?
7950 on water?

And what's the safest(ish) max volts for benchmarking runs on:
I5 2500k on water?
7950 on water?

This obviously is taking into acount that temps are safe.
What would be considered safe temps on the highest max volts benchmarking?

Thankyou in advance for any help/feedback
Cheers Chris

Hi 8 pack thanks for the reply just one question u wrote this on my water cooling thread:

CPU 1.45 ish, GPU 1.35-1.4 ish on water!

Is this benchmarking volts or 24/7?

What would be comfortable 24/7 and what would bench volts be?
Thankyou

wow thats some crazy volts not sure i could push myself to do it! hahaha 1.3v seems my comfortable limit on the gpu (not that i can find a program that lets me go above!)

are people just being conservative with the volts on these as i see everyone saying no more than 1.3v max max on gpu and 1.4v on the cpu othwerwise the world will explode and baby jesus will cry!

thankyou for the help much appreciated

Nah man I have 50 SB CPU running 1.45-1.47 Vcore 100% load 8 hours a day since they came out at between 4.9-5.1ghz and all are fine!!! This is with RAM at 1.75v too.

Its experience telling me this is fine!!!
