safe memory voltages

just looked in cpu-z and it appears my memory has a voltage of 1.8, im a newbie and, comparing it to the cpu voltage think it seems quite high... is it still safe?

ddr2 default is 2.0V and its recommended to use 2.1V if using 4 sticks of RAM

Actually, default DDR2 voltage is 1.8v, but many memory manufacturers run it over spec for different speeds and timings. If you're running the recommended voltage, you're not risking anything.
