Safe Mode Help - Urgent

Just fitted a replacement GFX card and all went well until I tried to start in Safe Mode to remove old ATI drivers. I couldn't get F8 to work so did a quick google and found another way be running msconfig and checking the /safeboot box on the boot ini choice. This I did and now I cannot get my PC to start in any mode!! It gets as far as the start choice options, safe mode, normal start etc but whichever I choose it simply starts to try and start windows then reboots! Can anyone help?

you might have to do a repair of windows... :/
as in, from the windows cd.

I'm just trying that. Any idea what I need to do? Can I use the bootcfg command?

All sorted now. Used a flopppy start up disc that enabled me to disable the start in safe mode switch. Still can't get into Safe Mode though!

Do you have a usb keyboard? If so you should enable USB keyboard in BIOS.

Hmm. Checked that and USB Keyboard is enabled.
