Safe mode = internet Normal Boot = no internet

basically im trying to get my dads work computer on the internet. After checking various settings and wires i tried booting the computer in safe mode with networking

The internet came on immediately. So i removed Norton from the computer but im still getting the same problem.

Is there any kind of program which can search for a remove firewalls?

is it wise removing stuff on a work computer? especially when it aint your work computer in the first place, if something goes wrong, isnt your dad going to get an earful from his IT dept?

i know we yell at people for playing around with our build.
