Hey guys,

I've got the following setup
e4300
P5ne-sli
2gb kingston ddr667

Overclocking to 3ghz was easy, you just set fsb as 1333 and ram at 667 unlinked mode (1:1 ratio still)

I increased the voltage to 1.4v straight away.

From what I can see stock voltage is 1.325V ? is that right?

I am running the cpu on the stock cooler and at 1.4V the temps were at 80C lol.

That is pushing it presumably.

I've reduced fsb to 1066 now (2.4ghz at 1.35v) What should I set the ram to ? (its still running 333mhz unlinked)

I will need to get a new cooler sometime I guess.

regards,

sid

try to keep vcore on stock with stock cooler, try keep temps below 70c, leave memory at stock and see what you can get out of CPU first, then if it becomes unstable you know its not the memory causing it, u should get about 2.6-2.8GHz with stock volts but just run orthos for a few hours to check

my E4300 runs approx 42 degrees idle and 65 max under full load 24/7 (folding @ home)

That's using a scythe ninja and running 1.325v @ 3ghz.
