safe temp for a i5 2500k on overclock?

as title what temps should i be worried about?

i think when it reaches around 90? coz id be freaking out by then lol, i generally keep mine at 60-70

Ideally you need to look at full load temps, as idle can vary.

What cooler are you using, fan rpm and case.

The CPU will start to thermal throttle at 100 deg, but personally, I wouldn't be happy with anything higher than 80 deg (at full load) and most people don't like more than 70

Mine has never reached more than 60c and even that seems high to me, running a cheap 212+ cooler though
