Hi I was wondering what safe temp would be for this processor?

Currently testing at 3.5ghz 1.4875v temps around 40C under load for ten minutes?

are these good?

If air cooling keep it below 55C and you should be ok :)

3.5 @ 1.4875v, not to bad. I think the voltage is a little high for that sort of speed but each cpu is in some ways a law unto itself. Cooling may also come into the equation, what are you using ?

anyone? at moment at about 30C also what is safe voltage? tried 3.6 ghz at 1.525 volts but cant get stable. would going any higher be safe?

30C sounds good to me, very good in fact, I water cool so I have no real comparison. Is Cool 'n' Quiet enabled and working ? As a note, for over clocking it's best to start with CnQ off - some say leave it off.

Safe voltage, 1.525 is as high as you want to go, oh yes :) A little less would be nice until you get a feel for the temperatures at least, even then 1.5v on air ? If it works for you and temps. stay reasonable and there is no burning smell ;)

These chips appear to reach quite high clocks on stock volts, the next few 100MHz can be a different matter, plus this is where good cooling comes into play but from what I've read the Sunbeam is a good cooler to have :)

I'm running the same CPU & Cooler m8. Currently Idles at 24 C / Load 30 C. Thats in an Antec 300 with both case fans at low. Mobo temp is 23 C.

I'm running at 3.5Ghz 1.425v just now, have had her stable at 3.7Ghz with 1.525V but didnt see that much of an improvement in benchmarks. 3.5Ghz will do nicely!

Also check this thread out, loads of info, really good.
