Hi, I was just running Assassins Creed with everything turned up to see how my new GTX 275 performed. It ran it great, but when I got back to Windows I saw my GPU core temperature was 90C, which seems high to me. nVidia Control Panel is currently handling the fan speed and in my mind should not be letting it get this high.
So does anyone know if this is too high or will it be okay? The actual model of the card is an XFX GeForce GTX 275 Black Edition, has anyone heard if the fans on these are bad and so I should get a new GPU cooler? And if so how easy is it to fit a new cooler onto a graphics card?
Also, are there any other simple programs I can use which will automatically handle the GPU fan speed and keep it around a temperature I define? I have SpeedFan installed but I don't think that allows me to change GPU fan speeds.
Thanks
