Does anyone know the safe temp range for my cpu? I find lots of figures thrown about but no official info. Idle my pc is running at 47 cpu and 38 mobo.

CoreTemp will give you the TCaseMax - the value AMD say the IHS temperature should not exceed.

I think for X2s it gives this value as 55C or 63C. Most people tend to take 55C as the safe maximum for these chips.

Also, idle temps don't really mean much. It's load temps that count.
