Safe temperatures for components inside case?

Hi guys,

Having got cool and quiet to work (which hasn't affected fan speed as far as I can hear), are there any free fan speed programs that can auto decrease and increase speed depending on what is going on with the PC's load?

I have Speed Fan 4.32 but I'm worried that it doesn't really know what's going on and I don't want my PC to run too hot if I'm gaming and would rather just leave a program to manage the speeds instead of opening and closing all the time?

So, any ideas on component warning temps for cpu, graphics card and motherboard etc and also any recopmmended programs?

Thanks.

Can't you just setup your bios so that the fan speeds adjust by temperature? Use that in combination with the c'n'c and you won't need any software.

Thanks, just read about asus smartdoctor though which should work with my mb. I'll post back.

if u have a ATI card i don't think smartdoctor will work because its for asus nvida cards..

u could use Q fan thats in the bios...

i am using ITE on my asus board and it works a treat. I came with my old DFI and I thought I would have a play not expecting it to work but it surprised me and did. :)
