safe temperatures?

Hi everyone im new here and just wondering what are safe temperatures for the intel i7 920 at full load? i currently i have it OC'd to 3.9ghz on almost stock volts

at idle its around 35 - 36c with 1 core around 40 for some reason and on 100% load using prime95 using small FFT's test temps range from 66 - 74c just wondering if these are good temperatures? i also have hyperthreading and turbo mode enabled!

Temps look pretty good

What cooler are you using.

Those temps look fine - you might have a slightly mis-shaped CPU or HSF giving the warmer core.

Safe temps are quite high with the i7s, but I wouldn't want to go much higher than about 70-75 - but you wouldn't need much more voltage through it anyway :-)

They seem fine mine runs around the same at 3.8ghz using a titan fenrir

I had stability issues at 3.9ghz so i have reduced it to 3.8ghz my temps are now 66 - 74c on max load, and im using a itan fenrir cooler. All my voltage settings are almost stock!

You have very good temps, you have to start worry about your temps when you pass 80C
