Safe Temperatures

Hi guys,

Does anyone know what the absolute maximum temps I should be running my i5 760 at? I'm trying to get it stable at 4GHz. It's not stable at 1.35v, but I'm not sure about pushing it any higher voltage wise as it's already hitting 85 under load at that voltage.

I'm using a Titan Fenrir with IC Diamond 7 TIM.

If that 85c is the core temps, then absolute total maximum would be 100c.

If the 85c is overal cpu temp (the temp you see in the bios) then you are allready over the max which is 72.7°C for that cpu.

So really all depends on what sensor you are getting that temp from Overal cpu or Core temps.
