Safe Temps? [8600GT Oc'd]

I've posted this in the graphics section but then realised it would fit more in here.

"Just wanted to check what the max temps it's safe to reach, as when i put my graphics on full load it can read up to 80 Celcius.

Will this damage the card?

Just added a 80mm fan blowing air out [was this the wrong thing to do?] as when i felt near the graphics card's fan i felt a lot of hot air.

Idle temps are 59 Celcius, haven't tested full load.

I would have thought having the fan blowing at the card would have kept i more cool tbh.

Swap it round and let us know how you get on

Just swapped it round, getting 58 idle now, will post again in 10minutes to see if there is a change.

Idle temps are neither here nor there really, unless they are rediculously high, it's load temps we need really...
