Safe to delete Google+?

Hi guys,

As above, I'm getting a bit annoyed with Google+, Circles etc. and I want out! I think I've found out how you do through your account settings but before I delete, is it safe? Specifically I don't want to inadvertently detail my Gmail account... incidentally, I'm not even sure how I 'subscribed' to it in the first place

Nah, it doesn't need to be that drastic! It's not the client I want rid of anyway, just the Google account stuff.

Ah, I see. I do use an Android phone - maybe that's how it happened in the first place...
