Safe to dust with compressed air while powered on..?

Is it safe to dust the inside of my computer with compressed air while it is powered on?

I sometimes run my PC with the side off, and if i spot a dusty area, it would be good to just clear the dust off it there and then without waiting until it is turned off.

I can't see a problem with it personally, but perhaps you can.

*edit* Just noticed that the currently playing song is 'Dust Devil' and I felt the need to share this amusing coincidence.

Should be fine for a quick dust off.

If it's canned air there’s a chance that localised condensation could form, although it isn’t going to be much. It’s also probably not a good idea to start blowing air into any cooling fans while they’re running.

its not the best idwa due to the water residue, Turn it off its wort the 30 seconds extra if only for peice of mind!
