eBay has better schemes to get your money back if your a buyer.
Precisely why I am afraid to sell my old kit on there :/
Ebay can be ok. If you have a fair bit of reputation it shouldnt be a problem. I have had a few half 'broken' cards that overheated/crashed until I reapplied thermal paste etc, which I think wasnt broken enough to get a return but was broken enough to make the seller want a new graphics card and offload this one.
Take a picture of the serial number sticker inc. its location and quality, maybe write your initials on a hidden part of the PCB and photograph that also, incase the buyer buys yours to replace his, but says yours broke in the post so you have to refund it, and sends back his old broken one with your stickers on it.
Gumtree seems to get less money than eBay, make sure you say youre willing to accept paypal and post the card on the gumtree ad. eBay has better schemes to get your money back if your a buyer.
Sold my 775 rig on there, Q9450, Rampage Formula, 4GB RAM for £262 and was only offered £110 on here. Ebay took £50 though...
But even after paying the high ebay fee's you still normally get left with more money for your stuff compared to selling anywhere else...ebay fees are a bit of a joke these days. Gumtree appeals because it cuts out having to pay ebay and paypal and money
