safe to sell graphics card on ebay ?

Be very careful of ebay. I once sold a gfx card and someone bought it and they were saying it wouldnt work. In the end i got the money as i knew it worked but not after a long "on hold" paypal thing with the money. The guy who bought it kept saying it wouldnt work, i tried to help etc but cant do much due to distance.

In the end i think the guy just didnt know how to install it or didnt know the requirements of the psu for it or maybe a motherboard incompatability (not my problem)

If he was trying to stick a agp card in a pci slot or pcie slot then screw em, their fault not mine, research the card before you buy the idiots.

Anyhow moral of the story is. Dont sell a gfx card on ebay or anything expensive that is a computer part. Yes you may get more money from dumb people but they will bite back and ebay/paypal will take their side over yours in a claim.

Least on ocuk MM the users you sell to at least most of them would know about the component your selling and how to install and would check before they buy. Unlike ebay..

Been selling PC hardware on ebay for 10 years, never had a problem.

Make sure you take photos of the serial number of your card, a common scam is: I have a bust GTX 680 so I buy one on ebay, do a paypal reversal claiming it doesnt work then send back my knackered one to the seller.

Sold my 560ti on there, just don't sell it to anywhere in nigeria and make sure they have good feedback
