If you're asking will it seriously mess up a Vista installation due to Apple's shoddy updating of a driver? Then no. Apple fixed it a while back.

I haven't had any problems with the latest iTunes under Mac OS 10.5/Vista SP1/XP SP3

iTunes 8.0.2 here, works fine on Vista, both 32 and 64-bit.
