Safe vcore for P4 2.8ghz HT Northwood

Hi,

JUst trying to give a new lease of life into a mates pc and he has a P4 2.8ghz Northwood.

Currently running @ 2.94 210x14 fine and the vcore is 1.525 v

whats the safe voltage of these chips?
And is 3.4ghz possible.

I hear the northwoods are goodl clockers.

First time overclocking an intel

I have one of these chips and it sits happily at 3.5Ghz (14 x 250fsb using Geil ultra pc4000 memory) on 1.625v.

what cooling are you using mate?
