Hi

I recently purchased some of the above memory and I am very impressed with the performance of this stuff.

However, to get it above 850mhz, I have had to increase the voltages to 2.17v on my P5N-E SLI. I have had them on 8 hrs blend with Orthos and 6 hrs of memtest and they are very stable.

Are these voltages safe to have or will they really lower the life of them? With a temp probe inserted between the heatsink and the memory, the temps do not go any higher than 49c.

Many Thanks :)

thats the dominator stuff yeah? its supposed to be run at 2.1-2.2 depending on which revision you have
v1.xx sets to 2.2v and v2.xx sets to 2.1v
i warn you now though, the p5n-e sli kills ram, it fries it, mine lasted 4 months before problems showed up, mine was the 1066 stuff, had to start running it at 800 and it finally ate 1 stick alive last month, had to rma the ram back to usa and get me a nice x38 chipset

After tinkering about with them I now have them stable on 900mhz 4-3-3-8 2T but have had to put 2.25v through them as I dont have 2.2v ( only 2.17 & 2.25 )

Will 2.25v fry them quickly if I keep the settings?
