Hi,

at the moment i'm trying to overclock my p5q-pro and q6600. I can get 3.0ghz stable, but struggling to get higher.

My VID for this chip is 1.3250v which i understand to be very unlucky, but i'm still aiming for a good overclock.

At the moment my CPU voltage is at 1.4250v, 355x9 (3159mhz), NB is at 1.34v, SB is auto, VDIMM is at 2.2v (as per instructed), and the PPL & FSB termiation are set two notches above the auto (based on instructions from another thread).

How far do you think i can push:

a) CPU voltage. I'm thinking 1.450v? Temps are idle = 29, load = 50. (antec 300 with be quiet PSU, 5xcase fans, sunbeam cooler)
b) NB. I'm thinking its maybe not advised to go above 1.4v, or should i not really be required to go this high?
c) SB. Is it ok to leave on auto, or does this overvolt? If so, what should i set it to?

Thanks.
