In the explorer bar at the far right (by the clock ) i have the Safley Remove Hardware icon showing - double click it and it shows 2 of my SATA hard drives - im sure this is wrong :D

So i have downloaded the RAID drivers from the Gigabyte website - about to install them, any ideas?

However, i think somthing is already installed as i do have the Gigabyte RAID configurer in my start list - but when i click it nothing happens.

Do i unistall first? Will i lose all my stuff :(

Thanks

It's not wrong. :) I've had this ever since going SATA/SATA-II. I just put the icon to always to hide. But if you go to My Computer and then the properties for your hdd, under the Hardware tab, select one of the drives listed and click "properties". Then on the "policies tab" on the new window you'll see you have two radio buttons. Each does a different job but both descriptions mention the "add/remove hardware" icon.
