Sage Payroll 2011 - importing in old data

Hi

I have 2 company databases which were created in Sage Payroll 2008.

I now have a 2 company version of Sage Payroll 2011 which I have installed.

When I run it, it is asking me to setup a new company but what I want to do is import the 2 company databases I already have in.

How do I do this?

From when we used to use Sage Payroll (which was a few years ago now so my memory may be wrong...), I think you might need to set up a "new" company first with the minimum information it will let you get away with so you can get it going. Then you can restore the the old data from backup, which will overwrite the minimal information you've entered with that held in the backup.
