Ive been looking up laptops for a future purchase and in my mind getting a sager laptop is the best way to go.

There cheap, awesome performance, and generally good :D

The one im looking at is a NP9261 model.

But, there in america - so i am concerned of getting one and it ballsing up. Anyone got one and could tell me how they deal with UK customers, especially when the laptop has a fault?

Also, the battery/heat may be a problem - with the desktop q6600 being in there and 4gb of RAM - im thinking the laptop would last 2 seconds on battery and it may melt before that, anyone give me some feedback on this?

And im not going to get one yet until the 8800 cards come out, but its going to be mostly that spec bar the gfx card.

I have not a cl-diddly-ue about laptops, so any help would be appreciated :)

I got to say Sager are the best :)
I got mine from sarasota in FL when on holiday there.
I delt with a reseller for Sager and they was great. When i got back i found that they forgot
to put in a HD holder.I emailed them and it was here with in 2 weeks.


It was a 8890 16" sq screen P4 3.2 ECT loved it.

There is a UK company that does the same thing.

But wait a bit the 8800 cards are cominh out for laptops soon.

Yea, but what i mean is like because america is ages away, how would they deal with you if something went wrong?

And because they have desktop cpus in them - do they run extremely hot, and how long does the battery last?

I would do - but about 2 people look in there, here i get the most responses ;)

Although if a mod sees fit to move it then go ahead :)

So can anyone answer my questions pleeeeeeease? :D
