I'm thinking about putting some on my 325ti. Is anyone using / has used them?

Seem to have pretty decent reviews for a budget tyre. Also have "B" rating for wet braking and economy.

The best thing you can do is spent an extra tenner per tyre to get a known brand tyre.

The majorly reduced braking (especially in the wet) distance, better traction, improved cornering speeds are worth it alone. That time this winter when some muppet cuts you up and you slam on the brakes....well those Sailun Atrezzo would cause you to hit it, but some better ones may stop you with a few millimetres spare.

So a review from someone you've never heard of, from a country with a climate totally different to ours, who was invited by the manufacturer themselves and can't even spell tyre ( ps i know its american) is a good indication?

In short, no. Buy decent tyres

Why did you buy a 325Ti?

I bought one because I like E46s, boots don't always work for me and I didn't want a tourer. I'm also (apparently) one of the lucky people who don't find Compacts dog ugly so bought a decent car relatively cheaply.

I'll probably only do 5k a year in it. Mostly either infrequent 150m journeys or short <10m journeys with a ring road and suburban. The odd local country lane.

I had budget tyres for a year on my car, thought they were fine until I hit a massive patch of standing water and the front end of the car went light, it was terrifying and unexpected seeing as I had about 5mm of tread. Changed them for Continentals shortly after and they kept contact even with deep standing water, and they still do after 8k. Crap tyres are okay most of the time, that's why people write 'rave' reviews when they go out and replace utterly worn out top brands with new budgets, but when it actually counts you need something decent and you usually won't find out until it's too late.

They are 40 a corner cheaper than something you know to be a decent tyre....which is priced similarly to other decent tyres. They are that price for a reason.

I had the Sailun Intoaditch and they were great. £35 a corner and they stuck like **** to a blanket. Better than the Potenzas I had on there.
