Saints Row 2 for £5?

Never played either games in the series but have found it locally brand new for £5.. well £4.99 to be precise.

So whilst on my way out to collect Modnation and a new Controller, is it worth getting this game or is it the worst of the series? Also does the game hold up well on the PS3?

Its so good ive got 2 copies on the 360 and one for the Ps3. Its brilliant and loads more fun than gta4. Only one bit at the start is quite choppy graphics wise other than that its really good.

Two for the xbox so me and the gf can play co op and one on the ps3 so i can play co op with another one of my mates

Does this game actually have offline co-op? It says it does on the back of the box but we never found the option in game.

saints row 2 is awesome, very good fun ok the graphics are bit pityful but the game is fun and entertaining

not a fan of the game at all, and i don't know how anyone can compare it to gta4 as it doesn't even come close IMO

I dont understand how people can rate it over gta4. SR2 in general may be more fun but the controls and engine are just about the shoddiest i have ever had the misfortune to experience. Moving on foot feels terrible, shooting feels horrible and driving is... Ive honestly played game & watch lcd games that have better handling. Feels like a game that still would have seemed terrible and broken ten years ago. Absolute ****.

It's a completely different type of game. Saints Row 2 will likely appeal more to the people who enjoyed the combine harvester spree, golf kart driving side of the old GTA gamers. GTA4 was a pretty drastic change for the series (personally I loved it) but not everyone appreciated the change.

Didnt pick it up in the end, had to skip the store as the lad needed a feed. Still got Modnation and a pad finally, cant grumble at that.

Probably have a nose tomorrow for Saints Row 2. For 5 notes id not be gutted if it was poopenstein.
