The 1st Saints Row game had perfect car controls, they just tried so hard to get away from GTA they royally messed it up and created crazy taxi 997
Huge bump, hope thats ok as starting another thread would be silly.
Just picked this up for a £5, having a lot of fun although not really getting anywhere as I seem to end up in a pointless car chase, hostage situation or just beating people up.
If anyone can remember, what is the quickest way I can get respect to unlock my next mission? Ive done the first 2, so now have the underground base.... but after that im doing jumps, killing other gang members etc but not really progressing as much as id like.
I did attempt a jewellery store robbery, got the cash but the police were lined up outside... I made it to my car (pimped out convertible) which although looked nice, having no roof left me prone to bullets and as I got jammed in, I ended up with more holes in my head than a sieve
Just the sort of game ive been missing though, just random chaos.

As you posted that I was probably half way through level one of that challenge
Didnt realise I could see things like that on the mini-map... great fun blowing everything up, somehow running away from the police lobbing nades behind me as I go is somewhat satisfying (probably not in taste given recent events).

can u skip the cut scenes in sr2? really bugs me that u cant in the first one.
Triangle skips the cut scenes btw.
Working my way through the Sons of Samedi missions, this game is fantastic and I believe a 3rd is on the way too
Graphically its not GTA but this is the fun game in that genre, which I have missed since Vice City.... I did like San Andreas but got tired of the game.
